PLEASE HELPthis was part of the John A Penton Collection of Russian iron art castings.This ferrous art was part of a exhibit sent by Imperial Russia to the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893. When it closed, John Penton acquired the collection and held it until Penton Publishing Company held it until it was sold at estate sale in 1938.This is one of the last items sold at auction on January 18, 1974. Hi Renae, Wow, you have a beautiful piece of art! Absolutely, wonderful and with a colorful history too! Your 1893 World's Columbian Exposition iron cast pitcher is worth between $1200-1500 dollars. However, its so rare that I haven't seen this piece or a similar one go up for sale, so the price is just an estimate. In an auction, with the right set of buyers bidding, it could go up much higher.
